  Employee Advantage Program

 The Chrysler Employee Purchase and Friends Programs will remain in effect for the 2009 calendar year. Each eligible participant will continue to have six Employee Purchase and six Friends Program control numbers for use throughout the year.

  Hold on to your hats, the media blitz for the all-new 2009 Dodge Ram has begun!

 The marketing launch for the all-new Dodge Ram kicks into high gear with a game-changing campaign befitting our new truck. The launch connects with consumers through new forms of content, new distribution channels and targeting tools. The centerpiece of the campaign is the Ram Challenge Web site: www.ramchallenge.com.

  United Way's Project "ABC"

 Standardized test scores indicate nearly 7,000 third graders throughout Wayne, Oakland, & Macomb counties in Michigan are not reading at grade level.
Studies show that of the children who do not read at grade level by the 3rd grade, 10 to 15 percent will drop out of high school and only 2 percent will complete a college degree. Click here for more information.

Links to the cover letter and Summary Modification Materials (SMM) for UAW retirees and surviving spouses have been added to the Union Retirees Benefits section.
These materials summarize benefit changes from the recent UAW negotiations and will be mailed to all UAW retirees and surviving spouses after November 21, 2007.

2007 Agreement for UAW employees and retirees covered by the National Agreement
Under the new national agreement between Chrysler and the UAW, which was ratified this past week, pension benefits for employees, retirees and surviving spouses covered by that agreement have been increased. Changes will be effective retroactive to October 1, 2007. Details regarding the timing of payments to retirees and surviving spouse and updates for employee credited service, estimates and/or Retirement Kits are not yet available. Further information will be available by June 2008.

Newly Retired and Plan to Use your Employee Advantage Discount?
If you have just retired and plan to use your Employee Advantage discount, you will need to contact the Employee Advantage Hotline at 800-756-2886. Upon retiring, your information is in transition from the active roles to the retiree roles. This may take up to six weeks. During that transition, your employment information is not available either on the web site or the automated phone system. If you speak with an Employee Advantage Agent, they will be able to verify your status and provide a control number.
The window period to make distribution election changes for the Executive Employees Supplemental Savings Plan (ESSP) or the Salaried Employees Income Deferral Plan (SEIDP) is open. This window period will run through Friday, June 29, 2007. To make any distribution election changes or if you have any questions regarding this window period, contact the Merrill Lynch Participant Service Center at 1-800-483-SAVE (7283.)
